INSTI in the News: National HIV Testing Day

June 29, 2020

While National HIV Testing Day looked a little different this year due to COVID-19, agencies all around the US adapted to continue serving their communities and raising awareness.

We were happy to see INSTI being used in many innovative testing settings including at drive-thru events. In fact, we want to say a huge thank you to all the people out there who gave their time and effort to support the cause of National HIV Testing Day!

Poz reported on Chatham County, Georgia’s unique way to get tested in a drive-thru.  They said, “Test results are ready in a minute and are confidential. Counseling is available, as is information about pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), the daily tablet that prevents HIV-negative people from contracting the virus. Plus: The event includes free gift cards and giveaways!” Read the story here.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation provided free-of-charge INSTI tests in their Atlanta Thrift store:

Many INSTI customers made us smile with their fun takes on our social media campaign, sharing all the things that are faster than a 1-minute HIV test!
